Decree and Declare Life Into Your Situation

The favor of God has been poured out over you because you belong to Him. 

Job 22:28- You will also declare a thing and it will be established for you; so light will shine on your ways.

Start asking God to help you to look at the world through eyes of blessing rather than eyes of failure. For wisdom and understanding as you are being shown the things of God to do as He has called you to do.

Whatever you declare trust that it is established.

God gives us the power to declare and decree (life and death are in the power of the tongue;Proverbs 18:21). Institute, confirm, settle, summons, and authorize.

Peter tells us we belong to a "royal priesthood". (1 Peter 2:9)  the word royal speaks of our kingly attributes as believer's. Manifest your royal anointing to decree blessings over your family, marriage, ministry, business and every other realm of your life.

Every word we speak is pregnant with creative power. Every word spoken gives birth to whatever we speak. Whether it be good or bad. Life or death. To speak the Word of God, that Word does not return void.

In the beginning of each day of creation we read: and God spoke out what He had seen in His mind. And when He spoke, the earth, all the planets, animal's, and human appeared just as He had seen in His mind's eye. And they came into being.

As an example look at the ships also.Though they are so large and driven by strong winds, they are guided by a very small rudder, whatever the will the captain directs. So also the tongue is a small member yet it boasts of great things. ( James 3:2-5)

When a ship sets sail to cross the sea, the captain plots out the course. He determines the direction of the ship and makes the adjustments needed to ensure he is headed in the right direction. He keeps steering as steady as possible towards his predetermined destination. Checking his calculations from time to time making sure he is going in the right direction.

Along the way he may have to adjust the helm to go around storms, navigate currents, or avoid obstacles in the water, but he always steers with his focus more on where he is going than what he is going through. If he constantly changes the steering from one minute to the next with his mind on the present circumstances, the ship more than likely will go in circles rather than the desired port call.

For us, our lives only arrive at our desired goals if we line up our thought's, words, habit's, and action's in a similar way. Are there habit's that you should form that will keep you on the right course?

What happens to a ship if you head it in one direction at one moment, and then turn it in the opposite direction in the next-and keep doing that over and over? It goes nowhere. This is what happens when people start speaking about the good things they are expecting to happen one minute, and then the next half hour talking about all negative things happening to them that are keeping them from getting there. They are turning their lives in circles. They line up their spoken word with where they want to go for a while and then when the storms come along the way, all they do is talk about the bad  and lose track of where they were headed in the first place. They forget they have the power to turn their lives around the storm and can pass through the sunshine.

In the midst of what looks like a catastrophe, keep speaking the blessing. Keep the ship of your life on the steady course. Storm clouds will clear and you will have broken through your difficulty and left it behind you. Line up your mouth-the rudder of your life-with the Word of God- decree and declare where you are going.

Remember,  Proverbs 18:21; death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat it's fruit. Choose to use your tongue to bring life and not death, to bless and not to curse. Even when it comes to your enemies. For in blessing a thing or a person, that thing or person must bless you. Bless those that persecute you; Bless and do not curse. (Romans 12:14)

When you bless, blessings will be drawn to you, or as Deuteronomy 28:2 says, blessings shall come  forth and over take you. Conversely, in cursing a thing or person, you draw curses upon yourself.

With the tongue, we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in the similitude of God. Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. These things ought not to be so. (James 3:9-10)

Believer's tend to live beneath the standard God has ordained for His children. We do not know that our daily declarations and that our  decree's have the power to alter our destiny. (Proverbs 13:3 states that He who guards his mouth watches what he says, preserves his life). (Hosea 8:7 states, they sow to the wind and reap the whirlwind). This demonstrates the powerful nature of words. 

Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that also he will reap. For if he sows to the flesh, he will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. (Galatians 6:7-8)

I decree and declare that you dwell in the secret place of the most High God and dwell under the shadow of the Almighty. (psalm 91:1) Everything that is misaligned I command to come into divine alignment. That you have the mind of Christ and will therefore seek things above and not beneath. that you wear the helmet of salvation to protect your mind from negative thought's that would derail God's purposes and plans for you. (Jeremiah says-For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.

There will be new cycles of victory that will replace old cycles of failure,poverty, and death in your life. Truth protects your integrity, righteousness protects your reputation, the Gospel of peace will guide your every step. The shield of faith secure your future and destiny. The sword of the Spirit gives you authority and dominion. Let you thought's be guided and governed  by things that are pure, gracious, beautiful, the Word of God. Not bad things or curses.

Old things have passed away, behold God will do a new thing. All things become new of good report. In the storms and rain, believe the "Son" will break through the darkness and the "light" will shine.

(4) settle - to set in place firmly or comfortably. (5) summons - to order or command to come. (6) authorize - to give official approval, to give the power or authority to. (7) rudder - a board, flat, movable piece hinged to the rear of a ship or aircraft, used for stirring.
